Admin Panel

See: Control Panel. The web-based dashboard where Eagle 3D Streaming users manage their entire streaming setup — uploading apps, generating streaming and meeting links, monitoring active sessions, configuring resolutions, managing team members, viewing analytics, and accessing developer tools.

Analytics

A dedicated section inside the Eagle 3D Streaming Control Panel that lets users monitor their streaming usage over time. The Analytics dashboard displays a session table with details per session — app name, start and stop times, duration in minutes, country, city, browser, and operating system.

API (Application Programming Interface)

Eagle 3D Streaming provides an API that allows developers to interact with the platform programmatically — automating session management, triggering uploads, and integrating streaming functionality into external systems or workflows.

API Key

A unique authentication credential associated with a user's Eagle 3D Streaming account, found in the Developer Section of the Control Panel. The API Key is used to authorize programmatic requests to the E3DS platform.

API Reference

The official technical documentation for Eagle 3D Streaming's API, listed as a resource under the Developer Guides section of the E3DS documentation. It provides details on available endpoints and how to interact with the platform programmatically.

App Upload Automation

Eagle 3D Streaming supports two methods for automating the process of packaging and uploading Unreal Engine applications to the platform: the E3DS Automation Tools Plugin and the E3DS Automation Kit.

Application

A packaged and uploaded Unreal Engine project hosted on Eagle 3D Streaming's platform. Once uploaded, the application is assigned a streaming URL, configured with settings like resolution and CCU count, and made available for end users to access through a web browser.

Application Upload

The process of transferring a packaged Unreal Engine build to Eagle 3D Streaming's platform so it can be streamed. Uploads can be done manually through the Control Panel or automatically using the E3DS Automation Tools Plugin or E3DS Automation Kit.

Authentication

Eagle 3D Streaming uses account-based authentication to control access to the Control Panel, streaming sessions, and API endpoints. The Developer Section provides tools for managing authentication credentials including API Keys, Streaming API Keys, and generated tokens.

AWS (Amazon Web Services)

One of the cloud providers supported by Eagle 3D Streaming for hosting streaming infrastructure. The platform is cloud agnostic, meaning it can deploy across GCP, AWS, Azure, or any cloud provider depending on requirements.

Azure (Microsoft Azure)

One of the cloud providers supported by Eagle 3D Streaming as part of its cloud agnostic infrastructure model. Enterprise customers can request deployments on Azure for specific regional coverage or GPU configurations.

Backend

The server-side infrastructure of Eagle 3D Streaming that handles session management, instance orchestration, authentication, API processing, and communication between streaming servers and connected clients.

Bandwidth

The amount of data that can be transmitted over a network connection within a given time period. In Pixel Streaming, bandwidth directly affects how smoothly the encoded video and audio feed is delivered from Eagle's cloud GPUs to the user's browser.

Bitrate

The amount of video data processed per second in a Pixel Streaming session, typically measured in Mbps. Higher bitrate means better visual quality but greater bandwidth consumption.

Blueprint

Unreal Engine's visual scripting system, used extensively in Eagle 3D Streaming's developer workflow. The E3DS Features Plugin exposes its functionality as Blueprint nodes that developers wire together without writing raw code.

Blueprint Debugging

The process of using Unreal Engine's built-in Blueprint Debugger to trace and inspect Blueprint logic while a remote editor session is actively streaming in a browser.

Build

A compiled and packaged version of an Unreal Engine project, prepared for upload and deployment on Eagle 3D Streaming. A valid build includes all executables, assets, and configuration files, compressed into a ZIP archive.

Build Configuration

The settings chosen in Unreal Engine when packaging a project for streaming, such as Development or Shipping. Build configuration affects how the app behaves at runtime.

Browser Compatibility

Eagle 3D Streaming's Pixel Streaming sessions run entirely in the browser — no plugins, downloads, or installations required. Supported browsers include Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari, Brave, and Opera.

Browser Resolution

The display resolution at which a Pixel Streaming session is rendered and delivered to the user's browser. Eagle 3D Streaming recommends 1280 x 720 as the standard resolution, though full HD 1080p and higher are supported.

CCU (Concurrent User)

The maximum number of users who can actively stream from Eagle 3D Streaming's platform at the same time. When you choose a CCU value on your plan, you're setting the cap on simultaneous active streams, not on total users.

CCU Queue

When all active CCU slots are occupied, any additional users trying to connect are automatically placed in a queue. They are admitted into the streaming session as soon as an existing user disconnects.

CCU Slot

A single unit of streaming capacity consumed by one active user session. In Dedicated Mode, every connected user takes up one CCU slot. In Meeting Mode, only the Host consumes a CCU slot.

Capture and Download a Screenshot

A feature available through the E3DS Features Plugin that allows users or developers to trigger an in-app screenshot during a live Pixel Streaming session and download it directly from within the browser.
