ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a highly motivated Junior SOC 2 Compliance Specialist to embark on a learning journey with us. This entry-level position is ideal for someone passionate and eager to dive deep into the world of SOC 2 compliance. We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior SOC 2 Compliance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our company is compliant with SOC 2 standards and will work closely with our IT, security, legal, and other business units to achieve this goal.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain SOC 2 compliance policies and procedures
- Learn about the SOC 2 standards and how they apply to cloud game streaming services.
- Support in establishing and enforcing Data Management Policies and Procedures focusing on the five trust service principles of SOC 2.
- Assisting in the implementation and maintenance of SOC 2 controls.
- Collaborating with various teams to ensure compliance with SOC 2 standards.
- Prepare SOC 2 audit reports. Participate in internal audits and learn how to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls.
- Gain experience in managing and monitoring cloud resources, including servers, storage, databases, and networking with a focus on security.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of security measures and policies.
- Assist in preparing reports and documentation related to SOC 2 compliance efforts.
- Prepare reports on the status of SOC 2 compliance and present them to management.
- Stay updated on changes to SOC 2 standards and ensure that Eagle 3D Streaming adapts accordingly.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- A foundational understanding of system and network infrastructure, cloud computing, and security protocols. Prior experience is not required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- A genuine interest in specializing in SOC 2 compliance and cloud security.
Preferred:
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+ or willingness to pursue relevant certifications during employment.
- A curiosity about cloud gaming technology and eagerness to understand the technical nuances of Eagle 3D Streaming’s platform.
- Relevant certifications or experiences in the field of information security and compliance
