We have a strongconnection to Epic Games,and we give back to our community through our podcast and roundtable series. Eagle is the go-to company for UE based realtime graphics experiences in the cloud.
WHAT WILL I DO?
Eagle is seeking a Sr. Unreal EngineSoftware Engineer. Eagle is developing an innovative platform that provides tools and services with world-class features and scalability for enterprise companies. We’re making it easier and faster for enterprises to deploy robust UE experiences to the web.
In this role,you will
- Spearhead the development of innovations for Eagle 3D Streaming’s Cloud PublishingPlatform for Unreal Engine Applications
- Work on gameplay systems, tools, and other features for enterprise-level cloud applications
- Collaborate with team members to design solutions and plan work
- Provide estimates and deliver work on schedule
- Participate in code reviews
- Work closely with developers, artists, and management to bring projects and our platform to life
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in gamemechanicrelatedUnreal Engine Programming
- Proven leadership skills acting as technical lead for team size 5+
- Thorough understanding of the Unreal Blueprints system
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Strong C++ design and coding experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to write clear, maintainable, portable code that conforms to standards and practices
- Knowledge of mathematical concepts such as algebra, geometry, and trigonometry
- Understanding of 3D coordinate systems and vector math
- Familiarity with linear algebra and matrix transformations
- Knowledge of calculus, particularly in relation to physics and animation
- Familiarity with quaternions and other methods for representing rotation in 3D space
- Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies and tasks
- Self-motivated team player with very strong work ethic and cooperative attitude
- Solid organization and time management skills
- Solid oral and written communication skills
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of Python, Javascript, or other relevant languages
- Data structure and algorithm knowledge
- Comfortable working in small teams and owning the development of experience
